How Do You Find UGC Jobs as a Creator?
Before we map out the pros and cons of each platform, it helps to know this is not the only way to get collaborations. You can also:
Get discovered: Make sure you are easy to find on social media by adding "UGC" to your handle or bio. A Canva portfolio also improves discoverability, which makes it easier for brands to reach out.
Cold outreach: You can build your own list of companies and approach them directly. Make sure you have a convincing pitch and a strong portfolio. You will hear "no" often, but this method is all about volume.
UGC agency: In this model, you are added to a list and contacted for collaborations when the agency thinks you are a good match. The agency acts as the middleman and your point of contact, so you do not work directly with brands.
And then there is the option we are discussing now: UGC platform. This is essentially a marketplace where you can apply for UGC jobs you like and get in direct contact with a brand.
UGC Platform Overview: Options and Benefits
Below is a selection of UGC platforms that offer work for both beginners and experienced creators. Each platform has its own advantages, from payouts to required skills.

Hyred
Hyred is a platform active in the Dutch and Belgian market. You get paid per video, and with extras such as photos and hooks, the payouts are relatively high for a platform standard.
You also receive a script with every job, something other platforms leave up to the creator.
✅ Advantage: No need to write or edit your own script - Hyred handles that for you.
❌ Disadvantage: Fairly competitive; without a strong portfolio it can be harder to get jobs.
🛍️ Examples of companies: Kneipp, Ziggo Dome, Bamigo

Real Creators
Real Creators is a beginner-friendly platform, mainly for Dutch creators. You are paid per video, and the rate increases if you write scripts or edit the video yourself.
✅ Advantage: Easy entry level.
❌ Disadvantage: Low job volume.
🛍️ Examples of companies: Mamas Chai, Wool Socks, Neycko

Barter
If you want to make UGC and get paid in experiences and outings, Barter is a strong fit. The name says it all: you create UGC for barter deals. It focuses on hospitality-related content, such as restaurant visits, for which you then create content.
✅ Advantage: Handy mobile app.
❌ Disadvantage: Requires at least 1,500 followers on Instagram or TikTok.
🛍️ Examples of companies: Thuisbezorgd, Ochama, Sushito

Influentials
Influentials is a platform mainly active in the UK, but recently also in the Netherlands and Norway. They have a dedicated support team that helps creators produce UGC.
✅ Advantage: Wide range of brands across different niches.
❌ Disadvantage: High competition; a strong portfolio is essential.
🛍️ Examples of companies: Pampers, Dove, Disney

Influee
Influee is one of the biggest platforms, active in 23 different countries and with more than 50K creators. Creators set their own video prices, which creates competition between them. You also cannot apply for jobs yourself; brands contact you.
✅ Advantage: Brands come to you.
❌ Disadvantage: Lower payouts because beginner creators make free videos as barter deals.
🛍️ Examples of companies: Layoners, Else, Silvi

Speekly
Speekly is a platform active in Germany, Italy and the Netherlands. It is beginner-friendly and you get paid per video. As a creator, you are expected to write your own script if none is provided and edit the videos yourself.
✅ Advantage: Easy entry and plenty of jobs.
❌ Disadvantage: You need to write your own script and edit the video without extra pay.
🛍️ Examples of companies: Snocks, Taxfix, Airup

Collabstr
Collabstr is an international influencer marketing company that recently started with UGC as well. You need to create your own profile here, set your prices, and brands contact you. Barter deals are not possible.
✅ Advantage: Brands find you; a minimum of €50 per video prevents undercutting.
❌ Disadvantage: Still not well known in the Netherlands, so jobs can be irregular.
🛍️ Examples of companies: Clickup, Hopper, McDonald's

Linkpizza
A Dutch platform focused on influencer marketing and UGC. Brands approach creators based on their profile and portfolio.
✅ Advantage: Brands find you.
❌ Disadvantage: Focused on follower count, which can be less relevant for UGC.
🛍️ Examples of companies: ING, T-Mobile, Karwei
